Erlendur Fashion Week Iceland (EFWI) is more than a fashion event. It is a platform that fosters meaningful connections  between local and international designers, creatives and talents.  Creating opportunities for growth, visibility, and collaboration. A global cultural exchange hub, it brings together ideas, innovation, and inspiration.

It is a meeting point between continents, creativity, and cultural exchange  a distinctive cultural destination where global designers, creatives, and industry leaders gather each year. People travel from around the world to Iceland specifically for the show, to connect, and engage within one of the world’s most extraordinary settings the Whales of Iceland Museum it is where fashion is presented as art.​

The venue :  â€‹â€‹The Whales of Iceland Museum, one of Reykjavík’s most distinctive cultural venues. Renowned for its monumental scale and immersive architectural design, the museum provides a striking and unconventional backdrop for contemporary fashion.

 Runway Show Experience

The runway show will unfold within the museum’s  exhibition hall, surrounded by life-size whale models suspended in a dramatic, atmospheric setting. This unique environment creates a powerful dialogue between fashion, nature, innovation, and sustainability values at the core of Erlendur Fashion Week.

Founded by Erlendur Talent Agency to give Icelandic talents a stage of their own, Erlendur Fashion Week Iceland began as a platform to amplify local voices and open doors to international opportunity. What started as a vision to elevate creatives beyond borders has quickly grown into a global meeting point for fashion, culture, and collaboration.

Launched in 2024, followed by a second edition in 2025, the fashion week returns for its third edition in September 2026  once again transforming the iconic Whales of Iceland museum into a runway where Iceland meets the world.
